Ha! That is crazy! Seemingly effective if the students really understand what they're saying, but slightly crazy. I can't imagine a crowd of American students gathered in a plaza learning Chinese that way. But I could understand what the crowd was saying, as opposed to when listened to most of the other students in my Advanced Spanish class junior year. That had to be traumatic for the teacher.
Yeah, that just makes it a LOT more complicated, haha. I love the girl just talking on her cell phone, oblivious to it all. Haha.
